Cinderella Movies

I am so tired of Cinderella adaptions. I don't even understand why Cinderella is the most popular fairy tale, it was never my favorite. So, I'm just gonna say upfront, in my opinion, Ever After and the 2015 live action Cinderella are the best.

THE BEST
EVER AFTER
Beautifully done, amazing cast, story well done, very real, very beautiful. Just, beautiful.
CINDERELLA
I feel like I could (kinda did) cry at just how pretty this one is. It's just so gorgeous! Great cast, pretty cinematography, fun story. My favorite thing about this movie is the feeling it gives you.

THE PRETTY GOOD
A CINDERELLA STORY
I'm still trying to figure out if she's really on his back or not- she just looks a little too relaxed. My biggest issue with this movie is the stepmom and step sisters. They're all really stupid and mean and obnoxious. But, I like seeing Lizzy Mcguire play this character.

THE JUST OKAY

ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY
Just ok...my favorite thing about this movie is the dance studio with the mirror you can see through, and her friends colorful van.
MAID IN MANHATTEN
This one isn't really classified as a Cinderella movie, but to me it is.
I like Jennifer Lopez's character, and her friends dance/singing scenes, but that's about it.

ELLA ENCHANTED
I just don't like Anne Hathaway!
CINDERELLA
I've never been a real big fan of this movie.

 THE WORST

 ELLE, A MODERN CINDERELLA STORY
NOOOOOOO!! By far the worst one I've ever seen! Super cheesy, super low budget, super terrible everything. The trailer makes it look better than it really is.

So that's my list!
What are your favorite and least favorite Cinderella Adaptions?

  1. Ever After is my all time favorite Cinderella adaption! Alina and I are kind of obsessed with it. It's just so perfect! My next favorite is R+H's Cinderella (the Broadway show). It's amazing. And hilarious. And also perfect. :D

  2. My forever all time favorite, will never be topped and forever remains in my heart adaption is Ever After. To me, it's pure perfection, not a single thing wrong with the movie. It just speaks to my soul. XD

Though I gotta say, R&H Cinderella (Broadway) hit the nail on the head with their humor (I was DYING of laughter. Definitely didn't expect that), and the costumes in the 2015 Cinderella were quite fairy tale like! (I want to dance in Cinderella's blue dress so badly!) But as I said, Ever After is my all five favorite, forever and always. :D XD

  4. Ever After has really stolen my heart, and the '15 Cinderella is a close second. I just love how fairytale-ish it feels. Oh, and I tagged you for the Bedtime Tag on my blog. :)
