Every Familiar Face in Cranford & Return to Cranford

Hi everybody!
It's been awhile! To be honest, I haven't had much inspiration to blog, not even on my own blog. But inspiration came knocking and here I am!
We recently watched BBC'S Cranford and Return to Cranford over the past few days. I have seen them all before, but it was many moons ago- I have since seen more BBC movies.
I knew almost EVERY character from another BBC series/film or Hollywood film. So, I decided to write a blog post going through them all~
discloser- i admit i stole the first three collages off the internet...

 Francesca Annis
She be Hyacinth from Wives and Daughters. As well as Lady Ludlow from Cranford.
 Michael Gambon
He be the Squire from Wives & Daughters, as well as Dumbledore from Harry Potter. He is Mr. Holbrook from Cranford.
 Deborah Findlay & Barbara Flynn
They are the sisters from Wives and Daughters- I forgot their names... ;) Barbara as Mrs. Jameison and Deborah as Miss Tompkinson from Cranford.
 Simon Woods
Dr. Harrison from Cranford, and Mr. Bingley from 2005 Pride & Prejudice. I think he's quite swell looking. ;)
 Matthew McNulty
As Edward Belle from Return to Cranford and Fisher Bloom from Lark Rise to Candleford.
Ok, quick story. I had seen Return to Cranford before I ever watched Lark Rise to Candleford, but I had no memory of him. When I watched Lark Rise to Candleford, Fisher Bloom was my favorite character, and I fell in love with his name! To this day, I still love the name Fisher for a boy- and I have actually met a little boy named Fisher!  So, watching Return to Cranford this go round, I shouted out- THAT'S MY FISHER!
How could he play such an evil role?!
 Michelle Dockery
As Erminia Whyte from Return to Cranford and Lady Mary from Downton Abbey (duh). ;)
 Alex Etel
As Harry Gregson and the little boy from Water Horse.

 Julia Sawalha
As Jesse Brown from Cranford, Dorcas Lane from Lark Rise to Candleford and Lydia Bennet from 1995 Pride & Prejudice.  I think my favorite role of hers will have to be Dorcas Lane. :D
 Jim Carter
Need I say more? Captain Brown from Cranford, and Mr. Carson from Downton Abbey.

 Claudia Blakely
As Martha from Cranford, and Charlotte Lucas from 2005 Pride and Prejudice. She also plays Mrs. Timmons from Lark Rise to Candleford.
 Judi Dench
As Miss Matty Jenkyns from Cranford, and Lady Catherine De Bourg from 2005 Pride and Prejudice.

 Imelda Staunton
As Miss Pole from Cranford, and the character we all wanted dead more than Voldemort in Harry Potter- Professor Umbridge. I've seen her on several other movies though- Nanny Mcphee being the first to jump into my mind. Oh, and a fairy from Maleficent.
 Lesley Manville
Mrs Rose from Cranford, and Mrs Hale from North and South. Also a fairy from Maleficent.
 Jonathan Pryce
Mr. Buxton from Cranford and Governor Swan from Pirates of the Caribbean.

 Greg Wise
As Sir Charles Maulver from Cranford and *hiss* Mr. Willoughby from 1995 Sense and Sensibility.
Tom Hiddleston
Again, need I say more?
William Buxton from Cranford, and Loki from Avengers.

I hope I didn't miss anyone..
So, in conclusion  we have~
4 Wives & Daughters actors/actresses
3 2005 Pride and Prejudice actor/actresses
2 Harry Potter actor/actresses
2 Lark Rise to Candleford actor/actress
2 Downton Abbey acto/actress

This mini series is PACKED with familiar faces!
Did you recognize all of these actors & actresses?

Horse movies for the not so crazy horse girl

Heyo!
So it seems that horse movies have been poplar in our house of late (not that this is new).
So I thought I would compile my favorite horse movies, even though I'm not a horse crazy girl like my sister.

 Spirit
This was the main (if only) horse movie that Lauryn watched repeatedly as a toddler.
We were constantly watching it. I love this movie, and it has remained a family favorite since then.
I love the soundtrack, the characters, the story EVERYTHING! It's so good!
One of my favorite parts was when he was in the coral and the "Get off of my back" song was playing.

Secretariat
I really enjoyed this one because it followed the true story of Secretariat's owner.
I also liked it because AJ Michalka and Drew Roy played in it. ;)
I like horse movies that focus more on the people than the horses.

A Leap of Faith
This is a lesser known one because it was very low budget. BUT! It is good nonetheless, and I really enjoyed it. It follows a young guy on probation, having to serve his time at a blind kids horse camp. He meets a girl (duh) who was a gymnast, but had just became blind during an accident on the beam.
Again, more of a people story.

Moondance Alexander
Another low budget film, but I enjoyed it. Moondace is a cute quirky character who doesn't really have any friends, so she sticks with horses.  This one strayed away from the norm of horse movies, which I liked.

Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken
Besides Spirit, this movie was always playing on repeat as well.
I love this movie! One of my all time favorites. Not to spoil it for anyone, but this story takes an unexpected twist, which is really cool- except it is based off a true story..

Virginia's Run
I really really like this one. It's not your typical horse film, and the story mainly sticks with the protagonist and her family. It was, indeed, a pleasure to watch.

So that's my favorite horse movies! What are your favorite horse movies?

Cinderella Movies

I am so tired of Cinderella adaptions. I don't even understand why Cinderella is the most popular fairy tale, it was never my favorite. So, I'm just gonna say upfront, in my opinion, Ever After and the 2015 live action Cinderella are the best.

THE BEST
EVER AFTER
Beautifully done, amazing cast, story well done, very real, very beautiful. Just, beautiful.
CINDERELLA
I feel like I could (kinda did) cry at just how pretty this one is. It's just so gorgeous! Great cast, pretty cinematography, fun story. My favorite thing about this movie is the feeling it gives you.

THE PRETTY GOOD
A CINDERELLA STORY
I'm still trying to figure out if she's really on his back or not- she just looks a little too relaxed. My biggest issue with this movie is the stepmom and step sisters. They're all really stupid and mean and obnoxious. But, I like seeing Lizzy Mcguire play this character.

THE JUST OKAY

ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY
Just ok...my favorite thing about this movie is the dance studio with the mirror you can see through, and her friends colorful van.
MAID IN MANHATTEN
This one isn't really classified as a Cinderella movie, but to me it is.
I like Jennifer Lopez's character, and her friends dance/singing scenes, but that's about it.

ELLA ENCHANTED
I just don't like Anne Hathaway!
CINDERELLA
I've never been a real big fan of this movie.

 THE WORST

 ELLE, A MODERN CINDERELLA STORY
NOOOOOOO!! By far the worst one I've ever seen! Super cheesy, super low budget, super terrible everything. The trailer makes it look better than it really is.

So that's my list!
What are your favorite and least favorite Cinderella Adaptions?

Creepiest Disney Villains {Morgan}

Hey guys!
I've decided to go over the disney villains I think that are the creepiest...

Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame
I didn't watch this movie until I was eighteen, and I could not believe it was a Disney movie! I liked it, but it was by far the darkest Disney film I have ever seen. Frollo freaked me out! If I am remembering correctly, I skipped over his freaky singing solo. He is a twisted disturbed guy. That makes him 20x creepier to me...
 Clayton from Tarzan
Clayton never really scared me, but the scene where he *spoiler* tries to kill Tarzan and ends up hanging himself, always scared me. It was just so... dark.
 Ursula from Little Mermaid
I don't think we realize how creepy villains are until we get older.
Little Mermaid was one of the Disney movies I watched repeatedly growing up. Urusla never bothered me until I watched parts of it as a teen. Urusla is... crazy.
 Mother Gothel from Tangled
Mother Gothel is probably my favorite Disney villain.
She's creepy, she's smart, she's manipulative and her death is like the darkest ever!
I feel like she's the most interesting Disney villain out there.

King Candy from Wreck it Ralph
His face creeped me out from the get go. But he didn't creep me out as much until he turned into that bug-bot thingy and was making that evil cackle. Creeper!

Who do you think is the creepiest Disney villains?

Downton Abbey Tag {Favorite Female Character for Each Season}

Hey guys!
If you haven't heard about this tag yet, see it here!

First question of this tag is~

FAVORITE FEMALE CHARACTER(S) FROM EACH SEASON:

Okay, so I just want to say upfront, that Missus Hughes and Granny are my favorite female character from every season.

That being said, let's go into the others..

SEASON 1
Lady Sybil
Daisy

I honestly don't remember this one really well, mainly because I disliked it so much.
I didn't really like any of the characters that much- they all annoyed me.
I think if I had to pick though, I'd have to say Sybil is my absolute favorite for season 1. I also like Daisy a lot in this season.
^^I love her adventurous and spunky spirit.^^

^^ I wish this scene had been longer- I'm still confused about Tom outside the window during this scene though...^^

^^Daisy was so young!^^

SEASON 2
Lady Mary
Anna
Sybil

I know Lady Mary is a lot of peoples least favorite character, but she has always been my favorite- at least for season 2, 3 &4. She seems the most complex and real out of the bunch- her character has the most character. In some ways, I have seen myself in Lady Mary- which has to do with me liking her. ;)
^^This is one of my favorite scenes. I love that outfit, and how her hair looks with that hat.^^
I love how her true self comes out in season 2, as well as season 3.

I like Anna a lot, especially in season 2. She's always happy, spunky, and she loves the Crawley family.  Anna, however, is not my favorite character in the last three seasons. I think my like for her kinda went away after she became Lady Mary's lady's maid. I don't dislike her, she's just not my favorite.
Lady Sybil's character really came to life in season 2. I love how she becomes determined to be a nurse, how she's always thinking of others, and a particular love story with a certain gentleman. ;)

SEASON 3
Lady Mary

Again.

SEASON 4 (AKA MY LEAST FAVORITE SEASON EVER)
Lady Mary
Lady Edith
This is the last season (of right now) that I care for Lady Mary.
^^I LOVE THIS DRESS!^^
I never really liked Edith, mainly because she was mean and annoying, or her hair/outfits drove me crazy.
But in Season 4, her character starts to come out more, and her character has changed drastically since season 1. She also gets more stylish. ;)
*SPOILERS*
A certain young man has to do with this- and for once, I LOVE Edith's boyfriend!
Edith has a sadder story during season 4, which gives her a lot more story/screen time.

SEASON 5
Lady Edith
Baxter
*SPOILERS*

Season 5 is mainly all about Edith. Which I like- even though her story started to get a little old after a time. I really like how her relationship with her parents is more shown. One of my favorite scenes is where Edith and Lord Grantham have a repentance/truth telling scene.

Baxter was really mysterious for a while, but her secret comes out in Season 5. She's a very subdued and interesting character. I really like her in season 5. I really like how she can forgive people and then befriend them, even when they are still giving her the cold shoulder, or when they have done bad things to her.

So, that's it for me folks!
